Statewide databases

NSW.net currently provides all NSW public libraries with free access to fifteen statewide online databases, covering a broad range of topics including the arts, science, literature and health.

Consortia opt-in offers scheme

NSW.net negotiates a discount on subscriptions to over 100 digital products on behalf of the NSW public library network. These offers provide significant discounts to public libraries and a diverse range of digital content to suit the information needs of the communities served.

indyreads

The indyreads platform provides public libraries with free access to eBooks and eAudio.

The aim of indyreads is to ensure NSW public libraries can offer their users a diverse collection of quality Australian and international published works. 

indyreads is intended to complement the collections held by public libraries and support libraries to meet the demand of their readers.

Connectivity

NSW.net is also funded by the NSW Government’s Public Library Grants and Subsidies allocation to offer NSW libraries and councils subsidised internet connectivity, eResources and associated services. A service managed by the State Library of New South Wales, we’ve been helping our clients build better connected communities since 1996.
